There are some real people and some true stories that seem to have been dreamed up by committees of Hollywood screen writers. Mr.Childer’s story is too true to be good.
“Machine Gun Preacher,” directed by Mark Forster and starring Gerard Butler, illustrates some of the ways a terrific film turns into a bad film. The first section leads up to Sam’s Spiritual awakening. One Sunday morning, after an exceptionally brutal night of crime and dissipation, Sam goes to Church with his mother and accepts the Lord. After that every thing changes.
Here at PA Motorcycle Insurance, we have to say we’re disappointed with the lackluster reviews. The Machine-Gun Preacher deserves a better film.
