The death of a Scranton woman while she was riding an ATV has prompted people to call for stricter ATV laws in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania currently has the 2nd highest ATV death rate in the country, behind California. Currently the penalties for breaking ATV laws in Pennsylvania are minor, and there is no training required to operate one unless you are a young driver. Increased training and higher penalties might help prevent accidents.
